CL:AIRE recently applied its Qualified Persons (QP) Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.

A project was flagged to CL:AIRE by the Environment Agency via the whistle-blow service, outlining multiple concerns with the application of a Route A Direct Transfer Scenario to a quarry restoration.

A full audit of the project was conducted by CL:AIRE which identified several failings with the MMP and supporting documentation.

Over the last few months we have been building and testing a new Portal where you will create and manage your DoW CoP Declarations; this will replace the Google form system. 

Please use the following "Checklist" to prepare your QP 2022 renewal.

Chartership
Make sure you are up-to-date with your Chartership institution. 

Fees
Registration fees will remain at £150 for the private sector and £105 for the public sector.

CPD requirements
Please make sure that your annual CPD which is relevant to the DoW CoP is up to date.  As a reminder, this log must reflect a minimum of 30 hrs spent on the planning, management, regulation or oversight of DoW CoP, remediation or other projects involving materials management. You can either log your individual CPD records or upload a full CPD statement for 2021 that you have exported from elsewhere via the CPD panel on your Dashboard.

QP registrations for this year will expire at the end of December 2020. To maintain your QP status and to continue QP activities for 2021 please don't forget to renew by the end of January 2021.
